How many can say they’ve been woken from sleep by the howling of wolves nearby? Count me as one of those people.
Living in my RV full time I’ve spent the night in many interesting places like noisy rest stops, high mountains surrounded by aspens, serene grasslands and now a wolf sanctuary!
Getting My Wolf Wish
I had been wanting to visit the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary since I started my RV nomad journey back in July 2020. I use Campendium to find places to stay overnight in the RV and had seen it listed in New Mexico. Yet at the time the sanctuary was closed due to the 2020 pandemic.
It’s taken me 2 years to get back to New Mexico. I’m actually slow traveling through to get to my friend Hunter in Austin, Texas for Thanksgiving or better yet FRIENDSGIVING!
