It Was a Great RV Errands Day : Trader Joe’s to the Rescue

Monday, March 14, 2022 Tucson AZ

I’m not really in the mood to write but I’m in the mood to share. I hope it’s ok I ramble for a bit. I mean it’s in my name – Allie Rambles. (FYI, that’s not my last name, some people ask, lol.)

I had a good day. Why? I WENT TO TRADER JOE’S!!

You have to understand. When I was in my sticks & bricks home, and later apartment in California, I went to TJ weekly.

I LOVE Trader Joe’s. It’s a simple place to shop (I hate shopping, yes, I’m not THAT woman who does not like hunting for deals or cute things to wear, it bores me). I need simple, not a lot of options. Just give me a great product and I’ll buy it – at a good price. That’s Trader Joe’s.

I bought so much food, all the favorites I always enjoyed, that I was a little worried all this fresh food wouldn’t fit in my little RV fridge. But it did!!

It’s wonderful to have girlfriends you can trust with your feelings. Someone that understands you, cares and is truthful. Boy, do I love my tribe of women I have in my life rigt now! Why did it take so long to find them!?

It’s been a day.

Not a bad one. Just emotionally draining. And a little physically draining too. It’s been warming up, tomorrow here in southern AZ we’re going to approach 90* F!! It’s like the AZ deserts have 2 weeks of spring then jump straight into summer.

My Errands Day How It Happened

I purposely left camp that morning early to avoid heavy traffic since I was heading into the Tucson area. I dumped my tanks and got fresh water.

Trader Joe’s was only 3 miles from where I dumped, this made me happy!

After Trader Joe’s I decided to head back to the original camp I was at the week previous for some more boondocking to settle in and have lunch.

Once I parked the RV back at the place I was before for a week, I immediately fired up the generator to heat up some Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice. And some naan too. My mouth was watering waiting for it to cool enough to take a bite. The anticipation was killing me!

As I ate I jumped on Marco Polo, have you heard of it? I won’t go into detail, I’ll just leave a link below for you to check out. I opened the app and sent a video message to my friend Hunter. We’ve been trying to coordinate a backpacking trip in the next week or so and I needed to give her some info, along with some personal venting about life.

Marco Polo App video sharing.

Then I remembered that I may have a water leak under my floor. After lunch I headed out to check my water pump and sure as hell, yup, water was leaking. I’m not happy because, well, I didn’t trust the person installing it to do it properly but I let him anyway to save money, plus I don’t know how to change a water pump. Somehow he f*cked it up. I gotta give him props though, it’s a tight spot to get in. Next time I’ll YouTube how to fix something and do it myself. (I hope someday to have a man in my life that is handy. A girl can dream about a kind, good man with handy hands.)

Put “fix water pump” on my list to do.

It’s 5 PM right now. There’s a breeze coming through the RV. I positioned Minnie Rambles so I see the sunset out my passenger side window and door. That should happen in a couple of hours. Speaking of sunsets, have you seen all of mine? You can all my IG sunsets here.

That’s it for now. I’m going to raid my overstuffed fridge for something yummy and healthy to eat, watch some YouTube and take a few sips out of my Skrewball Whiskey bottle. Later I’ll finish watching a movie I started last night with some popcorn and M&Ms.
